Memoirs of a cenfos-ian

Bismillah

Ijazah Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery sedang menunggu di UIA Kuantan Julai nanti InsyaAllah. Kat cfs la satu lagi bab kehidupan saya tertulis.

Ingat lagi masa registration day cfs, masa tu family semua baru habis tengok dorm. Kemudian, ayah kata, ”Kami nak tengok bi dapat medic nah kat sini”. Alhamdulillah, dengan kehendak-Nya, termakbul hajat ayahandaku.

Mula-mula masok, tengok roommate-roommate semua ada member dari sekolah lama, saya sorang ja kat situ, rasa sunyi la jugak. Lama-lama Alhamdulillah kenalan bertambah. Berkawan biar seribu, musuh biar satu.

Jom istighfar 70 kali sehari macam Nabi 

Kegembiraan Ibu Bapa

In the Name of Allah

Di saat keputusan diumumkan
Riak wajah lantas berubah
Hari bersejarah seribu kenangan
Nama keluarga harum megah

Bersalam-salaman dibalas pelukan

Couple

In the name of Allah

Salam. I went to this talk at amf after the Isya' prayer. It was organised by Engenius and the opening ceremony was superb and again congrats to Engenius. The hall was full as the topic was like on the minds of the youngsters nowadays. So the talk commenced. The presenter used a very brilliant approach as the audience and the target group was the youngsters in the first place.

Several points from the talk that I considered important are listed below:

1. Don't you approach zina - Even approaching zina is verily prohibited in Islam, so there really is no question about zina. But always rules are made to be broken, man tend to break any the laws even though they comprehend the consequences are not delightful

2. Contact his/her parents for permission - If you cannot hold your feelings towards him/her any longer, it is better for you to contact the parents to get their permission and acknowledgement as it is more appropriate in this way.

3. Increase the level of faith - As the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) said: "Renew your iman!" We must increase the level of faith in ourselves so as to strengthen the shield in ourselves from committing unlawful acts that are constantly persuaded by the devil, and one will surely fail if the shield is well-maintained.

4. Be the One instead of looking for the One - If we want our mate to be an A+ of a person, we also must work our way towards becoming the One.

5. Know your priorities -
a. Love Allah
b. Love the Prophet
c. Love our parents
d. Love our siblings
e. Love our books(education)
If you have completed all of the above, then you can love or to be loved by someone, and by someone I mean your WIFE/HUSBAND.

7 Things You Should Do During Holidays

In The Name Of Allah

7 Things You Should Do During Holidays
1. Drama catch-up: After weeks of keeping your drama-mode in hibernate, the time has finally come. Yes! The moment that you’ve been waiting for after a period of excruciating, mind-blasting, brain-tweaking exams, all-you-can-watch-drama time is finally here. The holiday is undeniably the most appropriate time to unleash your passion for Japanese drama. I highly recommend team medical dragon. A medical based drama which revolves around the routines of doctors and internal affairs of hospital admin. It really makes you want to be a part of medical field. Yes and I’m certainly not kidding.

2. Go For Vacation and Stuff: It is holiday and what do people usually do during this time of the year? Go for vacation of course! Surf the net and browse for the tourism places that you’ve been dreaming of going for a long time. And if you happen to visit KEDAH don’t forget to buzz me or bun or any kedahan that you knew. Cuti-cuti Malaysia at this time, whether it is enjoying the spectacular view from the Mount Kinabalu, or sipping a cup of tea and scones(again) while viewing rows of tea plants in the middle of Cameron Highlands with your loved ones after hours of mind-spinning journey –that-made-you-wish-you-did-not-come-along-but-you-totally-forgot-about-it-after-cool-streams-of air-pricks-your-tiny-little-lung, it would certainly be a tranquilizer for the chaotic mind.

3. Self-adjustment: All the mind-straining studies may cause you to have your head tuned to speed and your feet fixed to wheels. Although the period is over yet you find yourself unable to slow down (this happens to some people if not you). At this time, all you got to do is just take a deep breath and forgot all the worldly things for a while. Meditation is also a good way of relaxing oneself. Have a cup of tea and a plate of scone with strawberry jam if it can help you take the burdening things away from your mind. Pamper yourself-spend money at some fancy restaurant and buy some new clothes. You totally deserve them!

4. Take A Good Look at Yourself: You woke up in the morning, had a look in the mirror, and noticed -that the good-looking you has becoming more charming, underneath that black bush on top of your head. Yes you know what I’m talking about. You seriously need haircut (referring to the author). One may think that having long wavy Korean-like hair would attract girls and make one’s publicity rise. But the fact is you are now marching your way to adulthood plus you are now the future leaders in the making. And also as a student of excellent curriculum and etc, you really should project your academic on your appearance. In fact, mature girls actually prefer guys with short manageable hairs instead of long, wavy or spiky hairs, as supported by the following quotation. “Rambut pendek la smart, tgk macam aku, pompuan suke rambut pendek(President of Medcy, 2009)”

5. Help Out Your Mom and Dad: Yes your house is not in the condition where the word tidy or clean can be applied. Yet you keep denying, saying that somebody will clean that up, clear that mess and wipe it clean. For those who have maids, yes you are indeed lucky as your dad employed the maid. Unfortunately for those who don’t have maids, it would certainly be a hardship for your mom. Instead of sitting in front of the laptop, being absorbed by the good-for nothing Japanese dramas (totally compelled with #1), this is probably the most appropriate time to help around the kitchen a bit, clear away the huge bush of ‘pokok yg menjalar’, strip them all down the fence, pile them up and burn them all to ashes (though open burning is highly discouraged, at kampongs it is totally cool). Helping your parents would not just earn you ‘pahala’, but also blessings from your mom and dad and also keeps the house clean of course.

6. Make Only Necessary Visits To Malls Or Pasar Malam: An ustaz told me that these kind of places is actually swarming with syaitans from the cucu to the cicit, as most of the muslim HAWAs are not covering their aurahs which make them sinful and also indulge the muslim ADAMs of non-muhrim in doing unlawful actions, this in the first place contradicts the proper conducts taught in Islam as we the caliphs on the earth should lower our gaze as stated in Surah An-Nur : “Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.” Furthermore, my uncle added that in pasar malam, improper actions such as cheating in the weighing, selling fruits or items that do not appear as truthful as been said are conducted which makes them places that are discouraged to be visited regularly.

7. Closer To Him: Without we realizing it, we are actually drifting away from him minute by minute, day by day, as impure thoughts and worldly pleasures are whispered to our ear by one of His Creations that is reluctant to prostate before ADAM that makes us slowly and unconsciously one step away from remembering Him. Enhance our submissions to Him, do sunnah prayers, make up the time that’s lost to enslave ourselves to the Almighty. Recite Al-Quran-even if it is just a page a day, reciting the Holy Book gives the reader peace of the mind and should be exercised as daily routine. One should have the feeling of uneasy if one does not recite the Holy Quran even for a day.

Of course the suggestions and advices above voiced out meant are also meant for the author as we as human beings are fond of making mistakes. Anyway, have a happy and meaningful holiday. Salam.

In the name of Allah

The quest for 'Night of Qadar' continues. The night which is verily awaited by all of us as the night marks one of the highlight s of Ramadhan Al-Karim. Me, paan, sahal, nukman, and madi breakfast-ed at kfc the day before and it was great. Though we had to wait for like half an hour to get the food but it was enjoyable.

We went to MAHSA after that to perform our prayers as the time was not permitting for us to go back. "Ohh camni rupanya MAHSA, ehh tu bukan blok pompuuan ka", hahaa that was the first thing on my mind as we made our way to the musolla. Then, we had another round of kfc before heading back to uia(nukman la nie makan banyak).

Anyway, i'll be going back home today. Yayyy!!! I was ecstatic for a while thinking about my favorite dishes that my mom gonna make especially for me. It's really been a while since i had my mom's dishe in fact it's around 8 weeks to be exact. I can't wait to see the looks on my parents and siblings seeing a long missing member of family walking into the house. Man i miss a lot. That's all for now. Hope you make full use of the remaining Ramadhan as we might not have the chance to experience its blessings again. Keep searching for the "Night" ya. Adiozz
